SUKABUMI'S SOUVENIR
Sukabumi is located in west java. This region has a
large regency but the city is small. Both have a variety of culinary. Many
people come to sukabumi even from out of town looking for a special snack. When
we visit our family, it's undeniable that a typical souvenir becomes important.
Special snacks from sukabumi are
bandros, moci, and rengginang jampang.
Bandros is a sweet snack that people are like because the texture is soft, especially bandros ata. This snack is made from rice flour, tapioca flour, coconut milk, and sugar. All of the ingredients mix until well. After that, we can add the batter to "Bandros" mold that preheated and wait until cooked. Bandros ata is located at Jalan Gudang. It has many flavors: vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and cheese.
Moci has a chewy texture and easy to eat because the size is small. Sukabumi has popular Moci, it's Moci Lampion. This moci is made from glutinous rice flour, pandan, water, sugar, and peanut. How to make it, the first step, add glutinous rice flour, water, and pandan to the pan and stir well. The second ,take the dough and make the shape as you want and then add the stuffing peanut. Finally, we put the moci in a bowl and sprinkled with tapioca flour. Moci itself has many variant: greenty, Ovaltine, peanut, and cheese. The location is in Jalan bhayangkara gang kaswari.
Rengginang is a crispy snack from west java. But sukabumi itself has rengginang jampang that everyone know as one of delicious rengginang. This rengginang is made from glutinous rice that the process is steamed and then add the water that contain salt and garlic. After that process have finished, take it and shape it as you want. Next, dry rangginang in the sun. Finally, it's ready to be fried.
So, as we know that sukabumi has a typical snack that everyone knows because the taste is delicious. I hope the seller can keep the taste and everyone always come back to sukabumi because missing delicacy of Moci Lampion, Bandros ata and Rengginang jampang.
