Uninvited Guests by Suci Dian Lestari_ Chapter 2

Chapter 2

The girl heard it and as soon as possible she ascertained what sound she had heard. He saw the reflection of a mysterious figure, reflected in the windowpane.

She turned to look at his room but saw nothing. She got up from the bed and went to the place where the sound came from. Then there was a scratching sound on the wall but she didn’t dare to check it herself. She felt something wet on the floor. She turned on the light, which was now functioning, and looked down and checked what he had stepped on. The wet thing turned out to be a red stain right where he was standing.

With a feeling that was not known she felt the mysterious shadow returned in an instant then disappeared mysteriously. That’s not blood, because red is too bright, almost pink, like paint. She scratched the purple wall of her room and, believe it or not, behind the purple paint was pink, the same dark color that had once been on the floor.

The girl ran out of her room down a very dark hallway to her parents’ room. But then he turned pale and was very shocked with fear and made her whole body fell silent when he saw something that made her open his mouth to scream, even though there wasn’t the slightest sound coming out.
