CHAPTER III : The Invisible Guardian by Sayu Asmarita

In a warm morning, Queen Saraswati went to the Prince Kiram. Seeing him still was sleeping, she approached him and then stroked his head. Yet, Kiram woke up because of it.
Queen  : Oh, my dear, I didn’t mean to woke you up.
Prince  : I don’t mind. (he got up)
Queen  : How are you doing?
Price    : Well, (looked at his mother)
Queen  : I’m sorry, I didn’t pay much attention to you these past few days. I hope you don’t hate
  me!
Prince  : Of course, no. As you can see, I’m not at all bothered by that. (he smiled)
Prince  : But actually, I have to say something to you.
Prince Kiram tell to the queen about his nightmare last night. His story was quite surprising her. She became worried that his son’s dream was a reality. Furthermore, she has an idea to call dream interpreter. Maybe it was the only way that can be relied upon.
After instructing the guards, the dream interpreter came to Jayanegara palace. Accompanied by the queen, Prince Kiram told all the contents of his dream to her.
Interpreter       : This is no ordinary dream, I think the story is not over.
Queen              : What do you mean?
Interpreter       : It is just a piece of the dream, it would continue. Later you will find out what
really happened to you (prince) and the Majesty, and you will also know why you
  can dream that way.
Prince              : What happened to me and my father?
Interpreter       : forgive me your highness… You will know it later.
The dream interpreters left the palace, while the queen embraced prince Kiram and sobbed in tears. “You don’t need to be afraid or worried, I am here, always beside you” said queen Saraswati.
Prince Kiram’s Room
“Based on the interpreter’s word, the next part of the story will appear. Could it be tonight…
Argh, forget it, I am sleeping”. Without thinking much, he slept instantly and as he suspected, the dream continued tonight.
                                                                *************
At the forbidden forest
The king Rudaya leaned on a large tree. He tried to open his belt, but it needs something sharp to open. After looking around, he found it right beside him. He took it without hesitation, but he looked something else under the stone. It was an old paper, it said “Read the posts below, surely your family will be well looked after”. He was curious about the paper, read it, and his eyes stopped flickering directly.  He had just breathed his last in the unknown place. Only the wind seemed to say goodbye to him. The writing on the other side of the paper said that “I would be your child’s friend, protect him and tell him if he is in danger”.
