The past and the current, two things can not be separated and coexist. The past is one time only as a memory of something that has been left behind. While the current is a time that is being lived. Talking about the past and current, there are has a several of things. I will tell about a very beautiful and charming city in the past and compare it with the current of the city, Sukabumi. Sukabumi has several buildings that are still characteristic of the past to the current. One of them is town hall and transportation that is often used.

City Hall is a place where all of Sukabumi's city planning policies begin. In the past, the shape of the building from the town hall was very outdated but had its own meaning. With the shape of the roof decorated by art-deco ornaments, without any barrier gate in front of it. Whereas the current town hall is not as interesting as it used to be. Many buildings have been changed and even added to the current, and with the addition of a barrier gate right in front of the town hall. But there is one thing that has not changed, it is the roof of the building is still the same as in the past.

Everyone certainly needs transportation for them if they are traveling. They often used delman. A vehicle powered by a horse is decorated with a carriage behind it and controlled by a driver, it’s quite to carry the passengers. Unlike the thing now, almost everyone has their own vehicle. Pollution is scattered everywhere cause their transportation is now a machine that they can use by themselves without a driver or something. Now it is rarely heard the sound of the pounding of a horse's feet, replaced by the noise from the vehicles with pollution.

Of the many things that are in Sukabumi, I hope sukabumi will remain its own characteristic. Like what people say about the uniqueness of Sukabumi even though over time but still something original do not just disappear just because of changing times. Take care of what is our own characteristic and be proud of it.
