Chapter 3
My dream come true

Time flies, I have been working in this company for 1 year, I got many new experiences, such as meet new people around the world for a business thing, learn a lot from them that I have met, see many cultural differences, their behavior, how they act in public, and so on.  Can you imagine? How many countries had I gone Since I worked in this company? Ahh, I am so excited to tell you about the history of these countries. Oh, by the way, I tell the history because I love history, so here it is…

First country

Welsh
When I visited this country I can recognize the welsh people by their accents and their names, because they have unique accents and names, and it’s an ancient Celtic language and different from English, and you should know that they speak in Welsh and English. But in the past Welsh was forbidden as an official language, they must speak English because they were conquered by English in the thirteenth century.

Welsh & English

Welsh has national games, it’s Rugby, and as geographically Welsh’s divided into two regions; industrial in the south and mountainous in the north. They have coal mining that has good quality in the world at that time and also has beautiful scenery in the north, no wonder tourism is the main industry for northerners.

England
Stonehenge

In England, there are many other races such as Welsh, Scots, Irish, Jews, Russians, germans. Because of that, there are many immigrants from overseas who have settled, they speak in their language but their children speak in English. London as the capital city of London is the largest city in Europe after Paris. Many people live in the south and south-east England but they work in London, they travel every day to London for about three hours by car or train to work. Many of the old country cottages in the southern counties of Hampshire, Susses, and Kent, and it becomes a weekend house for well-off Londoners. Talking about Londoners they speak with cockney accent and cockney itself is a Londoners who are born within the sound of Bow bells- the bells of the church of st Marry-le-Bow in east London.



Scotland

Kilt

In scots, they are people that call Highlanders and Lowlands. The Highlanders who consider themselves superior to Lowlanders, most of them are descendants of Danish and Anglo-Saxon. Whereas Lowlanders are densely populated and heavily industrialized, they produce cotton, iron, steel, and coal, and in the River Clyde, there was once famous for its shipbuilding that has made the great Atlantic liner QE2 (Queen Elizabeth II). Tourism is one of the most important industries in Scotland, many tourists come to enjoy the beauty of Scottish scenery. They also come to see Scotsmen in kilts playing bagpipes, but only a few scots wear kilts these days although it's a national costume from Scotland.
