Once
upon a time, there was a great kingdom named Jayanegara. It ruled by King Rudaya.
He known as an ambitious king who can do anything for his wishes, including
fighting for getting the new territory. Now, the Majesty is in a meeting with
the royal advisor, Baidowi and the chief of royal soldiers, Faqih. Suddenly a
guard enter the room without permitted he said “Forgive me Majesty, there is
someone unknown left this letter in front of our royal gate, it looks like it
was intentionally sent to you”. Spontaneously
their conversation stopped for a moment. In the king’s mind arose thoughts that
might be related to the letter, he already guessed the contents, his face was
full of ambition and anger. “This is a threat! I would not remain silent and
won’t let them take what is rightfully mine!” Explicitly he said “Chief,
announce to all soldiers, tomorrow we are going to fight, prepare the equipment
and everything that will be needed, it is a command!”
It
was a sunny day, but not a peaceful day because war between the two great
kingdoms will soon take place. Jayanegara royal troops formed a line with its
king in the forefront, with the calvary they must win this war. Confidently,
the Majesty rode the horse to go to the battle site. With the hereditary sword,
he was absolutely convinced that he would be win hands down. Upon arrival at
the location, the enemy troops, Braga kingdom also formed a line which led by
their king, Adriana and they got ready to apply the swords. There, they stayed
face to face, oversee anything in front of them. “Wait… there is something
strange here, why did they come with fewer troops?” those words just passed by
in the Faqih’s mind. Without thinking for a long, he guided to declare the war
cry until shook the ground and echoed in the sky.
A
mile from the location of the war, the sounds of trumpets began to be heard, it
signalled that the war had begun. One by one Jayanegara soldiers began to fall,
whereas they did not fight yet. It surprised the king enough so that he lost
focus. “What the hell is going on?” said King Rudaya
angrily. Unexpectedly they were killed by archers who is hiding at the bushes.
The archers kept firing. Zleb… The king was shot precisely in his left chest.
Soon, Faqih shield him from the attack that returned to the king. Nobody could take him away from the war at that
time everyone was busy resisting the opponent’s attack.
The
sun began to set westward, the day returned peacefully furthermore in the
battle site, there was no one was seen there, except the bodies of the dead
soldiers. The two surviving royal troops have returned to their kingdom.
Jayanegara lost many lives even to the best soldiers as Faqih also passed away
in the occasion so they claimed for their defeat.
While
in pain the soldiers walked towards the palace, there Queen Saraswati was
standing and putting on a worried face. “What happened? Where is the Majesty?”
She said. “Forgive me! Jayanegara kingdom lose. We could not protect our king
and lose him. Directly, she cried hysterically. “Where is my husband, where is
my husband…”
