the splendor and the
pleasure who was given by this lovely Mall for people that thirst for pride
make this self have a dream in a moment become apart of that society. I wear a
white shirt and long black trousers and be ready to go to the company to attend
a job interview. I go there by commuter line, it is crowded by people who are
on the way to the office for work, the time that I spent to go there for about
35 minutes. When I arrived on the spot I see many applicants who have been
waiting for the interview, I start nervous, and I go there to join them. One by
one an applicant goes to the room for the interview. During I have been waiting for my turn my
nervousness gets worse like many applicants when I have been waiting for their
turn for the interview.
Our body would be the
reaction when feeling threatened and panicky, at that time my body reaction
when I feel panicky are thump, can't concentrate, my stomach is nausea, my hand
getting cold and my body is covered by cold sweat. Why do we feel like that
when getting nervous? So, when somebody feels nervous or worry there's
hyperventilation on the body. Hyperventilation itself is a prosses of carbon
dioxide released from the body but the prosses is too fast, and it makes the
heartbeat rapidly and take a lot of blood, this blood will steam to a big vena
whereas the vena on the hands is not, so there's less blood flow to hands and
it makes our hands getting cold.
After waiting for
about one half ours, finally, it's my turn to go to the room interview. A woman
is sitting on the chair with the table in front of her, and then I take a sit on
the chair in front of her then the interview section begins with the warmly
greeting from the women "hello, how's your day?", immediately my
nervousness disappears and I answer with a big smile "hallo, my day is
good even though I felt nervous before", answer by answer is given by the
women and I said confidently.
After the interview
finished the women said that further information will announce by telephone,
and then I go back to my flat by public transportation. During the trip I
passed many places, but when my bus stop at one spot that many people gather
and I wonder what it is, and I saw a writing on the top on the building it was
Pasar Senen. Immediately, I remember the history of Pasar Senen. This market
established on august 30, 1735, by Yustinus Vinck. Pasar Senen was named like
that because this market only opens on Monday at that time, and there are many
Tiong Hoa houses with pointed housetop so it calls Snees in Dutch. Pasar Senen
itself often used as a gathering place by intellectuals like Soekarno, Mohammad
Hatta, Chairul Saleh, adam malik, and many more. Pasar Senen passed many
moments like fire several times but still survive until now. I arrived at 05.00 p.m
and get into my flat and then take a bath. With a happy feeling, I imagine that I will be apart of that
company. When I am going to bed I still dream about that, Suddenly…
